How To See Hidden Drives in Windows System



When your computer is turned on all your Local Disks are seen from My Computer. Anyone can access your data. If you have some private data like image, videos in that case you must need to hide your local disks (C, D, E, etc.) so that no one can see your private data. In the earlier article you have learned how to hide a local disk drives in windows system. This article help you to see hidden local disk drives in your system. To see hidden drives in windows system just follow the below steps.
1. Click on Starts and select Run


2. Type gpedit.msc and click on OK. Group Policy dialog box opens


3. Now expand Administrative Templates under User Configuration


4. Expand Windows Components and then select Windows Explorer

5. Now find " these specified drives in My Computer " from right hand side pane


6. Double click on it to open Properties or right click on it and select Properties


7. Select Not Configured and click Apply and then OK


Now your desired drive is unhide from My Computer and every one can see and access it. Remember only an administrator account has privilege to do that. Other user account does not have privilege to do that.
