Customizing start screen Apps in windows 8

Though windows 8 starts screen is customized according to Microsoft. If you wish to customize all apps on start screen you can do it according to you. Start screen customization is more fun and easy in windows 8. You can reduce the size of the apps. Make smaller apps larger. You can remove apps from start screen. Add apps on to start screen also. Windows 8 customization is much more fun and easy than windows xp, windows vista and windows 7 operating system. 


Removing apps from start screen

You can remove all apps or single app from windows 8 start screen in two ways. Just right click on a single app to select it or right click on multiple apps to select multiple apps and then click Unpin from start. 

Or right click on start screen and then click All apps and then right click on app to select it and then click Unpin from start. Here you can not select multiple apps.


Adding apps to start screen

You can add apps to windows 8 start screen in two ways. Just right click on a single app to select it or right click on multiple apps to select multiple apps and then click Pin to start. Or right click on start screen and then click All apps and then right click on app to select it and then click Pin to start. Here you can not select multiple apps.


Making smaller apps larger

If you wish to make smaller apps larger or increase the size of any smaller apps on the start screen just right click on the app to select it and then click Larger. To make the size larger of all smaller apps at one click right click on each app to select them all and then click Larger on start screen.



Making larger apps smaller

If you wish to reduce the size of any larger app on the start screen just right click on the app to select it and then click Smaller. To reduce the size of all larger apps at one click right click on each app to select them all and then click Smaller on start screen.


Drag and drop apps to rearrange

You can move each app to arrange according to you on the windows 8 start screen. Just keep pressing left mouse button on the app and then drag and drop them to desired place on the start screen.
