I don know whether you noticed or not when you open any programs in your system all are listed in the My Recent Documents or Documents. When some one seat on your pc they can easily see what you have opened in your system. So there is no privacy. If you do not open your private file or documents then OK. Otherwise it could be harmful to you.
Suppose you have hided some porn or adult videos in your system so that no one can view it. Whenever you want you watch from there. You think that you are watching from hidden place so that no one can view your file. Although you watch a hidden video your file is listen in the My Recent Documents or Documents. And from there any can open your file. So better option is to clear your history of recently opened documents. No matter where you are seating. If you want to delete or erase all information that you have opened on your pc you can do it just changing your group policy. You can delete all history of recently opened documents manually or automatically.
To delete all history of recently opened documents manually press windows key + R to open Run menu and type recent and click OK or press Enter on the keyboard. Select all and press Delete on the keyboard.
To delete all history of recently opened documents automatically press windows key + R to open Run menu and type recent and click OK. Group Policy dialog opens. Click on the plus sign (+) to expand User Configuration if it is not expanded. Similarly expand Administrative Templates and then select Start Menu and Taskbar. You can click the Standard option to hide details of the settings. Now you need to find "Clear history of recently opened documents on exit". Now double click on it or right click and select Properties to open its properties. Select the radio button against Enabled and click Apply and OK to save your settings.
Whenever you shutdown your system all the history of recently opened documents is cleared. No one can knew what you have opened on your system.
