Group Similar Tasks On The Windows Taskbar

When you have opened multiple files in windows, all are arranged on the taskbar. Taskbar has some limitation depending upon the size of your monitor. If you cross this limitation two small arrows (one is upward direction and another is downward direction) appear automatically near left side of the active icons on the taskbar. By clicking them you can see all your opened files. Otherwise you can switch to your desired file by pressing Alt + Tab on the keyboard.
If you wish to group all your opened similar files or similar tasks on taskbar you can. To group all your similar tasks you just need to right click blank space on the taskbar not on the opened files. After that you need to select Properties. After that Taskbar and Start Menu Properties window opens. Here you need to select the check box against “ Group similar taskbar buttons “ . Customize Quick Access Toolbar in Microsoft Word 2007

The Quick Access Toolbar contains a set of commands that are independent on the tab (Home, Insert, Page Layout, etc.) that is currently displayed. The default location of the quick access toolbar is upper-left corner next to the Microsoft Office button. You can move the quick access toolbar from one of the two possible locations. One is upper-left corner next to the Microsoft Office button i.e, above the Ribbon (see the 1st image) and another is below the Ribbon (see the 2nd image). To move the quick access toolbar from above the Ribbon to below the Ribbon just click on the quick access toolbar i.e, small button looks like arrow near the Microsoft Office button and choose Show Below the Ribbon. How To Use Google+ Comments On Your Blog

Blogger has introduced new feature for its blogger. With the help of this new feature bloggers can share their comments on Google+. When anyone makes comment on your blog's post that comment is shared to their circles on Google+. To enable Google+ comments for blog you need to do the following below steps.
1. login to your blogger account. 2. click Google+ tab located left side pane. 3. select check box against "Use Google+ comments on this blog".

Active Desktop Wallpaper : Set a Fixed Wallpaper in Your System

Does your wallpaper is frequently changed? Do you know that you can set a fixed wallpaper so that no one can changed. You need to change group policy settings. Microprocessor Based Solar Tracking System Using Stepper Motor.

This system is a simulation project which uses 8085 microprocessor, stepper motor, LDR (sensor) and driver circuit. Solar sensor is used to track the maximum solar signal strength strikes the solar panel rotates automatically at certain position.  Stepper motor which is excited by the motor driver circuit is controlled by the 8085 microprocessor.  The required pulses to the motor driver circuit are also supplied from microprocessor circuit through appropriate assembly language programming.
I did this project with my project partner Mithun Ghose when I was in 4th semester of my MSc. Electronics course (2006-2008) in Gauhati University which i am going to publish almost after 5 years.

How To Insert WordArt or Fontwork in Open Office Writer

WordArt is an option to decorate text / sentence in Microsoft Word. But in Open Office Writer, this term is not available. In open office writer, instead of WordArt, it is called as Fontwork and it is present in the Drawing toolbar.

How To Insert Page Number in Open Office Writer

Like Microsoft Word, you can insert page number in Open Office Writer. Inserting page number in your document indicates the number of page that you have in your document. To insert page number in open office writer you need to do the below few steps.
Step 1. At first you need to add Header / Footer so that page number appears in the Header / Footer section. To add Header / Footer click Insert and then hover your mouse pointer on either Header or Footer and then select Default. Now you will able to see Header / Footer box in your document.

How to Change Format of Page Number in Open Officer Writer

When you insert page number in your open office writer document, by default it is inserted as 1, 2, 3 format with left alignment. But if you wish to change the format of page number and alignment then you need to do a few steps. Step 1. At first you need to select the page number. 

Step 2. after that click Format in the menu bar and then click Page. Page Style: Default dialog box opens.

Save Your Documents as PDF File in Open Office Writer

One of the most important feature of Open Office Writer is save file as Portable Document Format ( pdf ) format which Microsoft Word does not have. To save your document as pdf format in Microsoft Word, you need

install adobe pdf creator software into your system. But in Open Office Writer, no need to install any pdf creator software into your system. Instead Open Office has inbuilt pdf converter. Insert Bullets and Number in Open Office Writer

Play Your Favorite Song in Open Office Writer

Media player is also an important feature of Open Office writer comparing to Microsoft Office word. It allows you to play, pause, mute, stop, repeat mp3 files. To control volumes it has a volume slider. You can not add multiple mp3 files to this media player rather you can play single song only.

To listen your favorite song with Open Office Writer media player just click Tools and then click Media Player. Media player window opens. Now click open folder icon to browse your favorite song. Your song starts playing automatically just after browsing your song. But remember when you close your documents, media player will also closed automatically.
