India Wins ICC Champions Trophy 2013

India's thrilling five-run victory over host England in ICC Champions Trophy hides hypes of spot fixing. India beat all their competitors in this Champions Trophy and remain unbeaten and hold the Champions Trophy with glory. In the opening encounter India beat South Africa by 26 runs and in the second match they beat West Indies by 8 wickets and in the final match of their group league they beat arch rival Pakistan by 8 wicket by D/L method in a rain hitting match and qualified for the Semi Final remaining top in their group. They beat Sri Lanka by 8 wickets in the Semi Final and in the Final they beat host England to lift the trophy.
Rain disturbing final, match was shrinked to 20 overs. England have won the toss and invite India to bat first and they have managed to score 129 runs losing their 7 wickets. Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja have scored 30, 43 and 33 runs individually. From England side Ravi Bopara took 3 wickets and became the successful english bowler.

The target was not big for England but when they came to bat they started losing their wickets at regular intervals. Only Eoin Morgan and Ravi Bopara have scored 33 and 30 runs individually and England have somehow managed only 124 runs in 20 overs. Ravindra Jadeja, R Ashwin and Ishant Sharma took 2 wickets individually.

Ravindra Jadeja won the man of the match award and Shikhar Dhawan won the Golden Bat award scoring highest number of runs in the tournament. Shikhar Dhawan have scored 363 runs at an average of 90.75 in 5 match including 2 centuries and a fifty. He dedicates his award to victims of Uttarakhand tragedy.

This is the first time that India had won three major ICC titles under a single captain. Under the captainship of MS Dhoni India have won ICC World Twenty20 in 2007, ICC World Cup in 2011 and ICC Champions Trophy in 2013. The first captain who have won all three major ICC titles in the world.
