Process 2

You can add background music according to you also. Just click Edit button of desired video and then click Audio button and then select the desired music track from "Featured Tracks" located right hand side of your video and then click Save button to save your settings. After that click OK. Once you click OK, YouTube starts editing your video. After completion of editing you will able to hear the music when you play your video. See the below image.

Process 3

Process 3 is clumsy. You need to wait till YouTube enabled "Add music" for your selected video. You need to check your videos regularly whether it is enabled or not. When enabled click "Add music", select the desired music track from "Featured Tracks" located right hand side of your video and then click Save button to save your settings. After that click OK. Once you click OK, YouTube starts editing your video. After completion of editing you will able to hear the music when you play your video. See the below image.
Effect of Audio Swapping?

You already know that Audio Swapping replace the entire existing background music from your video. Except replacing the existing background music it has another most important effect on your video. After audio swapping you can't monetize your video. You can use the song in your videos, but the rights remain with the copyright holders. Otherwise, if your video is monetized with Google AdSense, audio swapping disable the monetization. So, this is the bad effect of audio swapping in your video. Now it depends on you whether you use audio swapping or not. Choice is yours.

How to remove Audio Swapping?

Once you have swapped an audio for your video, your video is disabled for monetization. Don't worry! You have option to revert your video to original track. To revert your video to original track, just click Edit button of audio swapped video and then click Audio. After that click Revert to Original and then click Save. Finally, you need to click OK to revert to original. And once YouTube has completed editing, your video is revert to original track.
