WhatsApp End-to-End Encryption

World's most popular instant messaging service provider WhatsApp adds another security feature i.e, end-to-end encryption. According to WhatsApp, more than a billion people are using WhatsApp to stay in touch with their family and friends all over the world. WhatsApp becomes just like a daily dose of billions people. This feature is only available on latest version of WhatsApp.

What is end-to-end encryption? At first you must have to familiar with the word Encryption. Encryption is nothing but a conversion of data into a digital form that cannot be easily readable and understood by unauthorized people. The primary purpose of encryption is to protect the confidentiality of digital data stored on computer systems or transmitted via the internet or other computer networks. And end-to-end encryption is also similar to the process of encryption. In end-to-end encryption when you send a message to your WhatsApp contacts or in a group, the message can only read to that contacts or group chat. None can see inside that message. To use this feature of WhatsApp both you and your contacts need to use the latest version of WhatsAapp. Once you update your WhatsApp with the latest version, whatever you send like photos, videos, messages or make a call to your contacts or group chat is end-to-end encrypted by default. If suppose you have latest version of WhatsApp and your friend using the old version, when you send photos, videos, message or make calls are not end-to-end encrypted.
